The restaurant “Osteria San Paolo” emerged from an idea and the experiences of Carlo Bibbiani, who became famous as the founder of one of the renowned pastry shops in Pisa. The restaurant was named after the correspondent street it is located in, right in an elegant and quiet corner of the historic center of Pisa.
The philosophy of the “Osteria San Paolo” is based on the idea to create an elegant yet comfortable surrounding where guests can enjoy the best dishes from the sea and the land with a creative touch by our versatile chef.
The “Osteria San Paolo’s” objective is to surprise the guests with a combination of simple and innovative savors and thus create a unique experience.
No matter if you choose meat or fish – we will surprise you with dishes of unquestionable high quality.
A little hint - save some appetite for the delicious desserts! It would be a pity to miss the great sweets that are exclusively prepared in our kitchen.

Our menu is always scripted along a line of a culinary tradition of the highest quality and offers fresh fish, caught the same day, or Antipasti made from well selected sea fruit and mixed plates of fried fish and sea fruit of high quality.
Amongst our dishes from the “dry land” is a great compilation of Antipasti or meat of best quality from the region.
The quality of the ingredients, the seasonal selection criteria of the products and the daily, fresh preparation of all dishes are the strength of the “Osteria San Paolo”.
All preparations are solely done in our kitchen, so are bread, pasta and also the sweets prepared in house.
Of course all these culinary delights are accompanied by a good selection of wines.
